The Spectra Technologies 2800 Series portable\dedicated automatic water sampler is the next generation in water sampling technology. An advanced refrigeration and heating system is incorporated into the design of the unit. This configuration allows the user to use the sampler year around. Sample when outdoor temperatures are below freezing, no more hauling ice when the weather is warm. The 2800 Series can be left in place when ambient air temperature ranges from -25o F to 122oF. An automated heating and cooling system monitors environmental temperatures and will select the proper cooling or heating system that is required to maintain sample integrity. A pump\electronics compartment heater maintains proper operating temperature as well as prevents the internal pump tubing from freezing. This fully programmable unit allows the user to select from a list of sampling methods including time based, flow based, level based or rain gauge-based options.
